Red CSS gradients

Red CSS gradients ranging from deeper crimson-like tones to brighter red stops, without drifting into blue, green or pink. These 24 selected examples come from the existing gradient library.

Gradient usage, contrast & CSS

Use this gradient.

Keep a red blend for a deliberate focal area such as a poster panel or a bold illustration detail. Do not use colour alone to communicate an error or warning.

Text over gradients.

Brighter red stops can reduce the contrast of light text. Check both endpoints and the transition, and retain a visible outline for interactive controls.

CSS for Ember Terrace

background: linear-gradient(160deg, #804C3C 0%, #D96459 100%);
background: linear-gradient(160deg in oklab, #804C3C 0%, #D96459 100%);

The first declaration supplies an sRGB fallback; the second interpolates in OKLab. Create a gradient with your own colours and stops.
