Aurora CSS gradients

Aurora-inspired CSS gradients moving between green or teal and blue or violet. These are single linear and radial blends, not layered sky simulations. These 24 selected examples come from the existing gradient library.

Gradient usage, contrast & CSS

Use this gradient.

Use an aurora-inspired colour path for an atmospheric illustration panel. Keep the green-to-violet transition visible and give long passages a solid neighbouring surface.

Text over gradients.

Changing hue does not ensure changing lightness. Check text over the full blended area, particularly where green transitions into blue or violet.

CSS for Emerald & Denim

background: radial-gradient(ellipse at 30% 25%, #3B7FB2 0%, #54C88B 100%);
background: radial-gradient(ellipse at 30% 25% in oklab, #3B7FB2 0%, #54C88B 100%);

The first declaration supplies an sRGB fallback; the second interpolates in OKLab. Create a gradient with your own colours and stops.
